Our new two-tiered competition system is your invitation to enter with confidence, whether you are a novice or one advanced in the photographic arts!
The Victoria Camera Club and its members have entered into competitons since the salons of its earliest years. In their modern form, competitions serve to stimulate the search for that "perfect" image and to provide an opportunity to develop one's skills and techniques. See a partial record of those who have blazed the trail over the years and decades: VCC Awards History.
Our Club competitions cover the gamut of media and categories: prints, projected digital images and slides; open, nature and theme categories. Six monthly competitions are scheduled plus annual Year-End Competitions and Aggregate Awards.
We celebrate our achievements in Competitions through enjoyment of the wide array of fine images awarded recognition. Those winning images are on display via Galleries > Club Competitions.
Location: Competition Nights are held at Norway House (see map).
See our Calendar for the full schedule of upcoming competitions.
