A committee comprised of Mike Wooding, Gordon Griffiths and Brenda Jacques is considering ways to enhance our Meeting Night programs. We welcome your input by way of an e-mail to our president, Ed Moniz, at president@victoriacameraclub.org.
Presenters Night:
Guest speakers make presentations emphasizing the art of photography. Held at Norway House at 1110 Hillside Avenue (see map for location and parking info) monthly from September through April. Competition Night:
Entries are submitted and results are returned for our Monthly and Annual Competitions. Held at Norway House as above. See Our Programs > Competitions for the details. See our Calendar for the schedule.
Members Night:
Members have the opportunity to make short presentations involving selections of their work, how-to's on image capture, processing or presentation or other topics of interest. Held at Norway House as above. See Our Programs > Members Night for the details. See our Calendar for the schedule.
Workshops:
Workshops are held throughout the year at Simply Computing, 2639 Quadra, and at CDI College, 950 Kings Road (see map) and also occasionally at other locations to provide learning opportunities regarding technical aspects of photography, including the use of equipment and image processing. Field Trips:
Held at various locales during the week and on weekends. Trips are schuled throughout the year. These trips emphasize the practical application of what has been learned in our workshops and elsewhere. See Our Programs > Field Trips for the details. See our Calendar for the schedule.

Only one meeting is held in December - a social gathering. The Annual General Meeting is held in April. May features the return of results from our Year-End Competitions. Our Annnual Awards Banquet, also held in May, winds up the season's schedule of meetings. As noted above activities such as Field Trips and Workshops continue throughout the year.
