President's Challenge - Team Challenge Award

In 2011, the VCC president, Ed Moniz, introduced the President's Challenge along with its accompanying pink-slipper trophy, the Team Challenge Award, donated by Diane and Ed Moniz.
The challenge has been established to create opportunities for groups of members to work together to create awe inspiring presentations to wow their fellow members.
The challenge sets out to foster collaboration in photography by club members making up teams and, then, as teams, deciding on how to meet the particular challenge of the day. Teams must then be prepared to make presentations of the results of their efforts, as a group, to the club.
There are few rules for this competition
and they
are:
1. Competition is open to all club members except the President (who
will be the primary judge along with two others to be conscripted).
2. Teams can be from 3 to 5 members but two of the members in each team
must be newer members (defined as having belonged to the club for two
years less a day or shorter).
3. Presentations will include how the theme question is completed, what
challenges the team faced and then their presentation. Presentations
can be in any photographic format but in most cases will likely involve
digital presentations.
4. Judging scores will be based on: creativity, enthusiasm, team spirit
and entertainment value. The judges decisions will be final and totally
subjective.
5. The theme for the first challenge was “In my
